Podcast by Schlammpeitziger

[30.01.2012] Jo „Schlammpeitziger“ Zimmermann is sort of a legend. Emerging from the alternative electronic music scene in Cologne, that reached international acclaim in the second half of the nineties, he is still hungry to explore new musical territories. While fellow minded artists like Mouse On Mars and Oval heavily used digital sound processing, Schlammpeitziger was known for his lofi-approach, playing jolly simple melodies on Casio keyboards. In recent years his sound got more digital as well without loosing his trademark appeal. And it got more and more dancefloor-oriented. You can hear the unique Schlammpeitziger-bounce on his great new album “Vorausschauende Bebauung”  ... and on this Pingipung Podcast.
