Kieran Hebden aka „Four Tet“ once described the music of Icarus as „really beautiful and also kind of evil“. And even though no track on this podcast is by the band itself, same could be said for the mix: We hear lovely textures and stepping abstract drumbeats dipped in a unique jazz-flavour. Six of the nine long cuts are from Australia. Icarus will celebrate their 20th anniversary next year. This podcast shows they are alive and kicking.
